1/19/24. Spent some time with 7-year-old KIDD today. She is one of the dogs that wandered into the firehouse with her companion Severide. KIDD is still waiting to gain some weight before her spay but is one of the sweetest, most gentle dober gals you could ever meet. Walks great on a leash, rides well in the car. She prefers the company of people over other dogs. Cats unknown.

12/30/24. KIDD is looking for her furever family in 2025. About 7 years old, this incredibly sweet and beautiful girl wandered into a Pembroke Pines firehouse, lured by the smell of food, with her companion Severide. She was emaciated and filthy but friendly with everyone she met and grateful to be rescued. She is a favorite of all the volunteers, with her sweet and gentle personality. We are waiting for her to gain some weight until she can be spayed. If you would like to foster/adopt KIDD, she would be very grateful for a comfy bed and a home to call her own after years of likely being used as a breeding machine.

12/12/24 Meet KIDD. This sweet lady showed up at a fire station in Pembroke Pines one night when they were cooking on the barbecue. She is so emaciated that we can’t even vaccinate her. Her weight is improving with small meals, and soon she will be seeing our vet. We are looking for a local foster so she can heal and get healthy.
