7/15/25. Meet APOLLO! This adorable 5-year-old boy finds himself in need of a new home through no fault of his own. His owner was absolutely devastated to give him up, but she is going into a nursing home, and none of her family members could take him. The day of his surrender was heartbreaking for all involved, and many tears were shed by both his owner and the volunteers taking him in. APOLLO is a sweet boy, but he is still decompressing and trying to figure out how he got here. He is dog selective but lived with a female greyhound, so he may do well with another calm female. He has only been around adults, so we have no history with kids or cats. PLEASE, this boy is gentle and has a nice temperament; nothing would give his mom more peace than to know he found a nice family to love him.
